A new Game Day

Before the whistle. Start Game has a kickoff screen. Mark who's here today (absent kids stay out of the rotation and the minutes) and adjust the half length, then tap Kick off.

On the sideline.

  • Minutes played, live, next to every kid's name and number.
  • List or Chalkboard. On the chalkboard, tap two players to swap their positions. The Next strip shows who's coming on and when.
  • A game clock that runs on its own, so a late sub no longer stretches the half. At half time the clock pauses and you get a preview of the second half.
  • Goals, cards and injuries, one tap each. An injured kid's minutes stop and the plan fills the spot until you tap Return to play. Everything has Undo, and the Game log (the ··· menu) keeps the whole story.

After the game. A full-time summary with the final score, how evenly minutes were spread, and each kid's minutes split by position. Share recap drops it in the team chat.

During the week. Fairer rotations: kids aren't benched two shifts in a row, and positions get spread around more evenly. Faster planning: open spots show as +, tap one to pick a player (fewest shifts on top) or Auto-fill open spots.

Finding your way. A new menu behind the SquadRotate logo (top left) for your teams, Team settings, Help and Feedback. A quick tour shows where things moved the first time you open the app. On a tablet or laptop, Game Day shows the roster and the field side by side.
